Mayan population Intervention
Indigenous population score less in physical and mental health indicators compared to non-indigenous population. Most of the Mental health structured interventions are not available on indigenous languages in Mexico. Therefore, this interventions has as objective the design of an online intervention in Mayan and Spanish delivered through videos of Youtube to the Mayan population of Teabo, Yucatán. The objectives of the intervention were developed trhough in-deep qualitative interviews with a sample of this population.
This project is directed by the Dr.Karla - Dzul Rosado(karla.dzul@correo.uady.mx ) and directed by the Dr.Alejandro Domínguez Rodríguez.The project is composed by a multidisciplinary team of researchers, Dr.Yolanda de Jesús, Hernández Delgado, LN.Juan Ancona Manzanilla, MIS.Juan José Arias León, Dr.Cessia Esther Martínez, BD.Victoria Acosta Guzmán, MD.Rosa Olimpia Castellanos Vargas and MD.Carlos Arzola - Sánchez.This team also count with a group of graphical designers from the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez: Erick Adolfo Durán Balderrama, Dahyre Alejandra Núñez Carranza, Jesús Miguel Espinoza Lozano, Julian Andrés Madrid Díaz de León, Dafne Giselle Domínguez Mendoza, Víctor Daniel Ferreyra Márquez, Evelyn Carmen García Quintana, Jesús René Medina Gómez and Genesis Paulina Arellano Olivas.
